Upon receiving the Invicta 8926C (which Amazon shipped quickly), I immediately noticed that the date cyclops appeared to be slightly askew. It was annoying but not a huge problem because I quickly learned to ignore the issue. Aside from that, the watch looked and performed just fine....for two weeks. After two weeks, the watch would not remain wound. Regardless of my winding method (manually, using the stem, shaking it from side-to-side, or using a watch winder), the watch wouldn't stay wound for more that 2-3 hours.br /br /I decided to return the watch to Amazon for a replacement. I submitted the replacement request on Thursday, Aug. 19 at around 8:30 am. I received the new watch on Friday, Aug. 20! This was my first experience with returning an item to Amazon and needless to say, I was extremely pleased and impressed with their quick turnaround time. Kudos to Amazon!!! br /br /The replacement watch seems fine for now. Unlike the first watch, the cyclops is perfectly aligned and so far, the watch keeps time decently. Comparing the time against my Citizen Eco-Drive Skyhawk AT and Casio G-Shock, both of which synchronize with the atomic clock in Colorado, the 8926C is about 7 seconds a day faster than both of my Atomic watches.br /br /The build quality of the watch seems to be very good. The bracelet and clasp are solidly made and the unidirectional bezel turns securely. The only things I wish they would change would be to remove the 'INVICTA' name stamped onto the side of the case and use an anti-glare crystal. On bright sunny days, I can see some flaring on the face of the watch. Actually, I'm not sure if it's caused by the crystal or the cyclops. Regardless, it's annoying but not so bad that I'm not able to read the time. In retrospect, it's probably caused by the cyclops because the glare was much worse on the original watch I received in which the cyclops was slightly crooked. The crooked cyclops issue probably exacerbated the glare problem.br /br /All in all, I think that this watch is a great value considering I only paid .00...provided that it doesn't stop keeping time like the first one I received. I'm going assume that I just got a bad one the first time around. As such, I'm going to ignore the issues with the first watch and base my rating on the one I've got now. I'd probably give it 5 stars if not for the name stamped into the side of the case.

There are many mixed reviews for this watch. I personally think not enough people have given their brand-spankin' new watches enough break-in time. br /br /Out of the box, my own bezel was very difficult to rotate. Now its smooth as silk. br /The watch band gets scuffed, but after a short time, the scuffs add up and get evened out and become part of the finish. Ask a guy if he minds the scuffs on his wedding band. The answer will be a great big no. Same with this watch band. Sure, the first scuff is heartbreaking, but it soon becomes "character." br /The watch keeps perfect time if treated right. Yes, it will unwind if you leave it on the bedside table for longer than usual. This is normal. That's why watch stores sell those weird rotating watch boxes. Overnight is fine, two days is too much. Deal with it. That's part of owning an automatic watch.br /The weight is amazing. I forget how light it is until I pick up my previous everyday watch...a similar looking armitron...and that's when you really appreciate this watch. br /br /I had previously been wary of Invicta, based on reviews I'd read and hearsay. Now I can truly say that was all a waste of time. I'm very happy with this watch and wear it every day.

I've had my Pro Diver 8926C for about 3 months now, wear it every day, and have had absolutely no real problems with it. Since I wear it every day, I don't have to wind it, and in the last 3 months, as far as I can tell, it hasn't gained or lost ANY time whatsoever - it is extremely accurate. Maybe I just got lucky, but if my watch is any indication, the 8926C series watch seems pretty reliable and high quality. br /br /I have worn it swimming in the ocean with no problems at all, and although I'm not terribly careful with it, there are no scratches at all on the face, so it seems fairly scratch resistant, but the metal watch band does appear to pick up scratches easier than I would have expected, although they are not really noticeable. The automatic winding mechanism is fairly quiet - I had one watch that really made a distracting cranking sound when I moved around, so this quiet mechanism is a nice change. The second hand has a nice sweep, you can see it tick, but it isn't as jerky as some other watches I've seen.br /br /My only real "complaint" is the glow in the dark hour markers and dial - it honestly doesn't last more than about 5 minutes in the dark - basically you notice it is glowing brightly, but in a few mere minutes, the face is dark and can't be read. I had the same problem with my Citizen watch as well, while on the other hand my Tag Heuer glows in the dark for over an hour. My other only complaint is based on my own personal preference - this watch is not as wide as I'd like, I prefer watches to be around 42-44mm, so this watch feels small to me.br /br /All in all, the watch is very accurate, looks good, very durable in any conditions - water, heat, or activity, and considering the price, is a tremendous deal. High quality for an almost ridiculously low price.
